Hi, it's Tina from Top Practices and I'm here with your one-minute management tip.
This is for doctors and also the office managers. When was the last time that you really took a good look at your accounts receivables report and discussed it together? You looked at your numbers, you looked at your denials to try and figure out why. You looked at your rejections to see was coding being done correctly.
All of these things are super important. And what I've been finding out recently is that a lot of offices, because people in the office are short-handed and having to wear multiple hats, that the accounts receivables is one of the last things to actually get looked at and work, and yet it's one of the most important.
So, if you have questions regarding your accounts receivable and what would be good percentages that you should have, all you have to do is email me at [email protected] and I would be happy to take a look at it with you. All you have to do is email me and sit down together to take a look at your report and see what it really looks like and what it represents.
